Lightweight IM-12 Carbon Performance

The Baltic Sea series uses 40Ton IM-12 carbon fibre to create a lightweight blank with fast recovery and excellent responsiveness.

This helps transmit lure movement and bites through the rod while reducing unnecessary weight – particularly useful during long sessions of active jigging and lure fishing.

Flexible Tip for Better Lure Control

The rod's flexible tip is designed to provide excellent control over jigs, softbaits and other artificial lures.

It also provides additional cushioning when a fish takes the lure, helping maintain hook contact during the fight while the stronger lower section provides the power needed to control larger fish.

Spin, Baitcast or Overhead

One of the Baltic Sea Slow Jig Rod's standout features is its versatility.

The universal guide configuration allows it to be used with spinning, baitcast and overhead reels, giving you considerably more flexibility than a rod designed around only one reel style.

Versatile 30–125g Rating

The 30–125g lure rating covers a useful range of jig and lure weights for New Zealand saltwater fishing.

It provides the flexibility to adjust your lure weight for changing water depth and current, making the rod a versatile option for snapper fishing, light jigging and softbaiting.
