I received the rod in perfect condition. Very well made. Some minor ferrule tight fit issues corrected with emory cloth. This rod will throw a 200 gram popper well. Overall good value for the price and features. I have now fished this rod in the Andaman Islands and in Christmas Island (Kiritamati) The rod is strong and holds up to the strain of very big fish. It is a great option for a large packable popping and trolling rod.

Prompt delivery package in sturdy box. Excellent fittings and finish, double locking ring on the fuji real seat is a nice touch. Rod blank: spigot cross section of the top two sections of rod blank were not perfectly round and need wearing in for a perfect fit. This hasn't effected the rods performance in casting or under load though. Already beaten 15 kg kingfish and 10 kg bluefin trevally with ease casting lures between 35 and 75 grams. Fits in suit case with room to spare. 8ft length and stiff blank is great and will allow me to use the rod for autumn and winter stray lining for big snapper amongst the kelp and rocks with confidence. Great value travel rod good enough to use for everyday big fish hunting.

Hi Scott, sorry we didnt have the two options showing correctly which we have now sorted. There are two versions, PE6-8 or PE10. We have the PE6-8 on hand now and should have other next month. Thanks
