The Tica Scepter GTY1000 is a high-performance long cast surf reel perfect for New Zealand beach and rock fishing. Designed for maximum casting distance, its slow oscillation system improves line lay on the spool, reducing friction and increasing casting range in demanding surf conditions.
A graphite-reinforced body prevents flex under load, while the carbon drag system delivers up to 8kg of smooth, consistent stopping power. With 7 sealed rust-resistant stainless steel ball bearings and a worm shaft oscillation system, the GTY1000 offers durability, smooth retrieves, and reliable saltwater performance.
