Tridents Aero Pulley Rig looks the biz, sturdy construction, the most aerodynamic pulley rig on the market. My only concern is the inability to fit a larger guage circle hook, although as I am looking for more distance, a smaller hook and smaller bait should help to achieve this, especially as I have been advised an off the ground cast is an option with the Rotobait clip. I will update my review post Great Exhibition Bay Surfcasting Comp as a few of the boys will be trying to bang these OTB.

Have been a user of pully rigs for a number of years of various types - some more successful than others. After viewing the Aero Pully at an NACA Casting event I purchase a packet and after checking on the Sandmans Tackle Time Utube and put together a rig using this pully plus the Trident Bait Clip and Terma Link. Looks like the pully will be a lot smoother and freer flowing than what I have used before and looking forward to trying it out in the surf.
This bugger had me stumped for a while, but eventually it showed me how it wanted to be treated. Once again, my fat fingers & the Aero Pulley made for a shaky marriage, but now, I love her! Thank you very much for the trade!

Made from Actel plastic (the most durable plastic available) and 302 stainless wire the trident compoments are designed to take rig design to a new level in terms of design, durability, and innovation. Ive been impressed with the practical design features since being introduced to the range by its designer at Trident Tackle. The Aero Pulley is a new design in a pulley system with unique features that challenge the accepted designs and ensures the Pulley sets a new standard. BY increasing or decreasing the diameter of the rig body you can change the amount of resistance of line through the Aero Pulley due to the figure 8 way the line is fed through the Aero pulley. The advantage of this is your hook trace fishes as a true dropper and on the retrieve the Aero will still slide as a Pulley but retains a positive hold on the rig body meaning more contact with the fish. Ive successfully used the Aero in both standard and drop down pulley sytems.
