Trident Tackle Roto + Terma Link Bundle Deal

Solid construction, the only issue I see at present in the inability to add a larger guage circle hook, a 3/0 BKK luminous circle struggles to fit in the Roto Bait Clip. Will update this review once I have had a good couple of sessions with it.

But if you use a big bait then clips have a tendency to separate on cast making the clips almost pointless

Holds well during flight
Doesn't jamb up in sand
Cons:
Needs quite a bit of exposed hook to latch onto
Cant change sinker without cutting your attached line (you need to add another clip)

After using IMP clips and impact shields for a while I bought some of these to try and love them have fitted up to a 7/0 owner circle hook in the clip while the 7/0 is a bit of a tight fit it still works

Bait clip is excellent, works really good, the termalink I'm not totally hooked on yet as haven't found it a real necessity on my rigs, but it has its place on several set ups, so a must for every tackle box, all in all both great products but really need the hangover clips to get the most benefit from both,.

Great design and quality materials. A little bit fiddly for recurve hooks but that is to be expected. Would highly recommend for surfcasting. Reliable release system

I’m loving this set up it’s simple but strong, I like the way the Roto keeps the lead on. And the termalink works really well easy to use. The line on the Aero pulley is doubled over and slides better than I thought, I have used the different pieces on different rigs and so far are doing well. I will be getting more when I need them. All In all a very good system. The only negative bit is when you break them off the plastic carrier they come on it leaves a sharp pointed piece which can damage your line, I used a nail sanding stick out the wife’s makeup bag and filed it smooth.

Have made up a couple of pully rigs using this bait clip, along with the Trident Terma Link and the Aero Pully and am very happy at the way this all comes together. Neat streamlined rig and looking forward to using this

Jut received this device along with Roto Bait Clip and Aero Pully.
In conjunction with watching Sandman's Tackle Time Utube have made up a pully rig and very pleased how it all came together.
Looking forward to trying it out in the ocean.

These Trident Roto Bait Clips are amazing! I must confess it took me a little while to work it out (about 10 seconds) but the concept is simple! My fat fingers were a hindrance but I will get used to this tackle easily enough! Thank you very much for the trade!

Having sat down to thoroughly assess this terma link, I can say that this baby will do the job!
I researched the internet to find experts whom have used this device & their appraisal was irrefutably sound (e.g. Youtube-''Sandman''). So far, I have personally just played with the Terma Link (i.e. connecting to several different apparatus & then disconnecting) & everything works as its suppose to! Thank you very much for the trade!

Great idea the way the hook locks in to this. My only complaint is the size of the indent for the hook could be bigger to suit heavier gauge hooks

The Trident Tackle Roto clip combines together similar features found in other bait clips but to a new level.

Made from the same Actel plastic and 302 wire as the Aero Pulley and the Terma link the Roto clip allows for both OTG and pendulum casting.

The system works via a swinging paddle system. Push the paddle up to open the Roto, place the hook inside the exposed grove then push the paddle down to lock the hook in place inside the Roto.

The hook will stay in place until impact with the ocean surface when the paddle is pushed up ejecting the hook.

To fit the Roto to the sinker push down on the top wire loop. This will expose the open bottom loop allowing for a sinker to be inserted and to lock it in place simply reverse the process.

Its important to now think of the sinker/Roto as one item, simply clip the Roto to a lead clip which will allow the Roto to be removed and the sinker changed if needed.

By holding the sinker and Roto combination in one hand with your thumb and fore finger its easy to use the freehand to insert the hook bend into the Roto using the opposing thumb and forefinger then locking the Roto paddle in place with the opposing free hand fore finger.

Ive successfully used hooks up to 6/0 in the Roto but it will depend on the wire thickness of the individual hook being used.

The Roto is more durable than other systems available and ensures free release each time.
