The Kilwell Freshwater Jig Rig Mix 1 is a professionally pre-tied trout jig rig built for consistent performance in NZ lakes and rivers.
Featuring Grey Ghost, Grey Ghost Lime, and Jack Sprat, this versatile fly combination offers strong visibility and natural movement across changing light and water clarity conditions.
Designed for vertical jigging, simply work the rig near the bottom or at the depth trout are holding while drifting or fishing at anchor. Subtle rod lifts create lifelike action to trigger strikes.
Tied on a durable 12lb fluorocarbon backbone with droppers spaced at 70cm intervals on three-way crane swivels to reduce line twist. Attach your mainline and a 1½–2oz sinker and you’re ready to fish.
