The Balzer Platinum Royal Trout Line is a premium monofilament fishing line developed specifically for trout fishing, particularly when casting spoons, spinners and other artificial trout lures.
Using modern polymer technology, Platinum Royal Trout combines suppleness, high abrasion resistance and relatively low stretch for a monofilament, providing good lure control and bite feedback while retaining the forgiving characteristics of mono.
Available in Pink, Blue and Chartreuse, with 150m of line per spool.

Designed for Trout Lure Fishing
Platinum Royal Trout has been developed specifically around the requirements of anglers fishing artificial lures for trout.
Its supple characteristics help smaller spoons and lures cast smoothly, while the relatively low stretch provides more direct feedback than you'd typically expect from conventional monofilament.
At the same time, mono retains some stretch, providing useful cushioning when a trout makes sudden runs or shakes its head during the fight.
Excellent Cold-Weather Line

Unlike braid, which can absorb water that may freeze when temperatures drop below zero, monofilament is far less susceptible to this problem.
