The Balzer Tactics Trout Collector Spinning Reel is a specialist ultra-light reel designed for trout anglers who enjoy lightweight tackle and finesse presentations. Developed to pair with Balzer's Trout Collector lures and spoons, it is an excellent companion for trout lake fishing.
The reel combines a smooth 6+1 bearing system, finely adjustable drag and precise line lay to provide the control needed when fishing light line. The S-stroke system creates an even line lay across the aluminium spool, helping provide consistent line release when casting small lures and spoons.
The Trout Collector is particularly well suited to ultra-thin lines, including Balzer Iron Line Trout. With the alternative deep spool, it can also accommodate 150m of 0.08mm braid or 170m of 0.20mm monofilament.
Its lightweight, smooth-running design makes it an ideal match for specialist ultra-light trout rods such as the Shirasu Trout Collector range.
