Balzer Tungsten Cheburashka Chatter Trout Lure

The Balzer Tungsten Cheburashka Chatter Lure combines two effective lure concepts in one compact trout presentation – the free-moving action of a Cheburashka rig with the vibration and resistance of a chatter-style blade.

During the retrieve, the movable metal plate swings rapidly from side to side, creating high-frequency vibration that transfers through the entire lure and Trout Collector softbait.

At the same time, the articulated Cheburashka-style hook connection gives the softbait plenty of freedom to move naturally.

Each lure is supplied with 2 Balzer Trout Collector softbaits, and the tungsten weight is available in four different sizes.

Cheburashka Meets Chatter Lure

The design combines the versatility of a Cheburashka rig with the vibration of a chatter-style lure.

Rather than having the hook rigidly fixed to the weight, the articulated connection allows the hook and Trout Collector softbait to move more freely.

This gives the softbait a lively presentation while maintaining the compact nature of a weighted trout lure.

High-Frequency Chatter Action

At the front of the lure is a movable metal plate that creates significant water resistance during retrieval.

Because the plate is free to move, it rapidly swings from left to right, generating vibration and shaking the attached Trout Collector softbait.

Changing your retrieve speed lets you vary the intensity of the lure's action.

Gold or Titanium-Coloured Plate

Balzer offers two plate finishes selected for different water clarity:

Gold Plate – Murky Water
Designed to provide a stronger visual presence when fishing stained or murky water.

Titanium-Coloured Plate – Clear Water
Designed for fishing clearer water where a different flash and presentation may be preferred.

This makes it easy to select the lure according to the conditions you're fishing.

Four Tungsten Weights

The Cheburashka weight is made from tungsten and is available in four different weights.

This allows you to select a lighter or heavier presentation depending on water depth, current, casting requirements and desired sink rate.
