Ultralife Salted Anchovies Fishing Bait – 300g

Ultralife Salted Anchovies Fishing Bait – 300g

Ultralife Salted Anchovies Fishing Bait 300g is a naturally oily, salt-preserved fishing bait ideal for surfcasting, rock fishing and boat fishing throughout New Zealand.

Anchovies are known for their high natural oil content and strong fish scent, making them an attractive bait option when targeting snapper, kahawai, trevally and other saltwater species.

The salting process helps preserve the anchovies while firming their texture, making them easier to handle and rig. Their naturally oily flesh releases scent into the surrounding water, helping attract feeding fish.

Supplied in a convenient 300g pack, Ultralife Salted Anchovies are a practical choice for Kiwi anglers looking for a naturally scented bait for their next fishing trip.

Fishing Tip

Anchovies are naturally softer than tougher baits such as squid or barracouta. When surfcasting, secure salted anchovies to your hook using bait elastic to improve bait retention during casting.

For a more durable bait presentation, combine anchovies with a strip of salted squid to add toughness while retaining the natural scent and oil content of the anchovies.
