Ultralife Salted Shrimp Fishing Bait – 100g Pot

Ultralife Salted Shrimp Fishing Bait – 100g Pot

Ultralife Salted Shrimp Fishing Bait 100g is a convenient, naturally scented saltwater bait ideal for targeting snapper, trevally, kahawai and other fish species around New Zealand.

Shrimp is a natural food source for many coastal fish, making it an excellent bait option for surfcasting, rock fishing, harbour fishing and boat fishing. Its distinctive scent and natural presentation make it particularly useful when targeting fish feeding on smaller crustaceans.

The salting process helps preserve the shrimp while firming its texture for easier handling and bait presentation. Supplied in a compact 100g pot, Ultralife Salted Shrimp is ideal for shorter fishing trips, light tackle fishing or anglers wanting to add variety to their bait selection.

Fishing Tip

Use salted shrimp on smaller hooks for a natural bait presentation when targeting fish feeding close to the bottom. For surfcasting or fishing in stronger currents, secure the shrimp with a small amount of bait elastic to help prevent it from being dislodged.

Salted shrimp can also be combined with a small strip of squid for a tougher mixed bait presentation.
