What a fishing rod.even just taking it out of the packaging it just beams quality I have paired mine with the akios guv gx8. Looking forward to testing it out slide baiting for kingies this season. Big thanks to Johnny Anderson for all his advice about akios gear.

Paired with the Akios Nitron F-15 Overhead Reel I managed a personal best cast on my first cast at about 70% power into a head wind. Adjustable reel seat for both types of reel. Stiff rod with senistive tip. Rod is well made and I'll be buying another as my second rod.

Brought this rod as my first serious surf rod. Haven’t used it as of yet as planning to buy a serious reel to match it with in time for when the snapper start moving in closer here in the ‘naki

Awesome rod. Only tried in field but certainly has the power, particularly on a 6oz.

Also put it with Akios 666mm3 (also from Lure Me) multiplier and equally delighted to see it performs extremely well.

Now Level 2 looks to be close, looking forward to a good workout on the beach. Thanks again for your awesome service

A very efficient service and a beast of a rod. When you hold it in your hands ready for a cast, it just feels right. I have gained at least an extra 20m with this well balanced and seriously powerful rod.

I've been using this rod up and down the coast line for a while now and fished numerous beaches from the sand and also wading around in a wet suit , to start with I have nothing bad at all to say a bout it at all! when wading out to your arm pits and casting this rod using an over head thump you just know its going to sail out there and your control over the rod is amazing to very lightweight, I also take the weights out of the bottom of the rod I find it easier to cast when in the water with no counterweight in the bottom of it but it's a choice that you might have to make for yourself, also when you dont get wet or dont need to a nice off the ground cast is amazing loads up with ease and is very powerful lives up to its name I tell yah ,then it comes to catching fish and landing them it still has the finesse to feel every movement and head shake, (I can see this rod being great for slide baiting) bite detection is great you always see and know even when there a bit shy on the chew. So all in all it's an amazing Rod powerful very stiff but still a sensitive rod for you to feel and see what's going on pairing it up with an r 10 is an absolute game-changer highly recommend that you do this also.
