Beast of a rod

I bought this as my first serious surf casting rod and I have not regretted it.

It's light and does a powerful cast. The tip near the last ring seems skinny, but every cast I have been doing the pendulum cast with 60lb braid and it handles it without a hitch.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the Phosphorescent Glow-In-The-Dark Tip does not glow at all, even after it being in the blazing sun for 5 hours then going night fishing that same day it doesn't glow. It reflects if you shine a torch on it, but that's it.
Kind of disappointed but it's not a big issue for me.

I usually go out fishing every day after work and a few nights a week stay after it gets dark.

For casting I easily cast further than my mate who has a fibreglass rod.
