The Balzer Shirasu IM-8 Cast M is a lightweight, fast-action baitcasting rod designed for fishing small hardbaits, softbaits and other artificial lures.
At 1.95m (6.40ft) with a versatile 5–20g casting weight, the Cast M is compact, responsive and easy to work with. Its 36Ton IM-8 carbon fibre blank features a distinctive Fast Taper action, providing crisp lure control, excellent sensitivity and plenty of responsiveness when a fish strikes.
Purpose-built for baitcast reels, it's an excellent option for freshwater lure fishing for trout and perch, as well as other light baitcasting applications.
