Never has there been a circle hook that offers such an advantage when hooking up. The durability and strength of Trokars Q741 wire and tempering process combined with Trokar's surgically sharpened point.
Using a large non-offset hook such as the TK4 minimises gut hooking and reduces the catching of undersized fish. Remember, fishing with circle hooks such as this requires a taught line, softer strikes such as a rod lift instead to set the hook in the corner of the mouth.
A non-offset circle design makes it less likely to gut hook fish. Endorsed by The Billfish Foundation and the New Zealand Sport Fishing Council as being legal for all IGFA tournaments and competition use.
